About Me
Software engineer with ten years of agency experience, based in Oisterwijk and transitioning into senior technical leadership. I'm drawn to creative, challenging work that pushes boundaries while maintaining a human-centered approach to technology. As a Tech Lead, I grow alongside the developers I mentor, believing thoughtful guidance creates the strongest teams.
I value privacy-conscious tooling, ethical technology practices, and staying close to creative work. In my continuous learning journey, I'm exploring Effect, Rust, Go, and VIM motions, always seeking ways to improve my craft through side projects that keep me creatively engaged.
My career has been shaped by demanding but rewarding agency environments, specializing in highly interactive web experiences, scalable architectures, and technical transformation initiatives like Atlas—OWOW's unified framework that I architected and primarily maintain.
React has been a constant throughout my career, used across every role from early agency work to current leadership positions.

Education
Bachelor of IT
Fontys University of Applied Sciences
September 2012 - July 2016
Tilburg & Eindhoven, the Netherlands
Completed Bachelor of IT from September 2012 to July 2016, graduating with an 8.0 GPA and receiving a perfect 10 for graduation prototype delivery. During a 6-month graduation internship at Stijlbreuk, developed a computer vision application for creating contextualized product demonstrations. The solution employed RGB-to-HSV color space transformation for improved color perception, Sobel edge detection, and Hough transform for corner detection—enabling automatic perspective calculation and projection of live content (screenshots, websites via iframe) onto photographed devices. Built using HTML5 Canvas for pixel-level processing, JavaScript with Web Workers for performance, and React for the UI. This project bridged theory and practice in applied computer vision, demonstrating practical applications of color theory, edge detection algorithms, and transformation matrices.
